The show recently taped and will air at 8 p.m. March 4 on Food Network, Jenny Schmitt, spokesperson for Wild American Shrimp Inc. (WASI), told IntraFish.
Lagasse, known for his traditional southern and Cajun cuisine, will use certified wild domestic shrimp on the show and will talk about U.S. shrimp. Sitting at the counter with Lagasse will be Eddie Gordon, WASI executive director, and Timmy Cheramie, a shrimper from Lagasee’s home state of Louisiana.
Lagasse is a big supporter of domestic shrimp.
