With close to NOK 20 (€2.40/$3) in per kilo profit margin in its third quarter, Faroese salmon farmer Bakkafrost reigned supreme over its competitors listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Even though the figures aren't quite comparable, Bakkafrost was clearly the most successful company in the third quarter this year.
This is apparent from the overview prepared by IntraFish on the basis of the company’s quarterly reports. So far, seven of the companies listed on Oslo Stock Exchange have reported their results, with just the Scottish Salmon Company remaining, which is set to release its figures next week.
