Bakkafrost CEO Regin Jacobsen praised the company’s third quarter, but said the group can get even better.
Speaking at the IntraFish Seafood Investor Forum in London last week, Jacobsen said Bakkafrost would set it sights on improving its efficiency.
Bakkafrost showed an operational EBIT of DKK 208.7 million (€27.1 million/$35.5 million) in the third quarter, with a profit for the period of DKK 211.3 million (€27.5 million/$35.9 million), their highest profit after tax ever.
Jacobsen stressed Bakkafrost was no longer as dependent on the European market as it has been previously.
