Baader’s granddaughter Petra Baader, who has run the company since 1995, gave guests a short summarization of the company’s history. This began 90 years ago, when young engineer Rudolph M. J. Baader founded the company Nordischer Maschinenbau Rud.
After three years of development, Baader was able to launch his first herring filleting machine.
Mechanization quickly grew from herring filleting to cutting machines, followed by the first whitefish heading and fish-splitting machines.
The company’s bestseller, the Baader 47 skinning machine has sold more than 4,000 units in 20 years.
