The wholesale value of wild-caught fish was $686.4 million ($639.4 million/€437.2 million), down from $757.9 million ($706.1 million/€482.8 million) in 2007.
Aquaculture production last year had a wholesale value of $529.9 million ($493.7 million/€337.5 million), up from $507.7 million ($473.1 million/€323.4 million) in the previous year, the Ministry of Environment’s Oceans and Marine Fisheries Branch reported Tuesday.
