Australis to ask investors for $60 million

Usually Thanksgiving drives down  prices for other proteins in the United States, but not this year.

Prices for Chilean salmon -- which goes largely to the United States -- increased on turkey day for the first time in 10 years this year, Australis executive Juan Lazo told IntraFish.

This is a good sign for a company that plans to ask investors for a $60 million (€43.3 million) cash injection in March of this year through its issuance of 500 million new shares.
