Chile-based Australis Seafoods saw a loss of $5.5 million (€5 million) lossfor the first quarter of this year -- a $5.6 million (€5.1 million) differencefrom the gain of $58,000 (€52,915) during the same time period in 2014,according to results released by the company.
The difference "is mainly explained by the increased costs of salesfrom $28.4 million (€25.9 million) in Q1 2014 to $34.3 million (€31.3 million)in Q1 2015" due to lower market prices, Australis explained.
