Australis Seafoods closed the deal with Norway’s AquaGen Friday over the asset sale of its Chilean subsidiary Landcatch for $11.4 (€8.3) million.

Norway-based AquaGen will pay for the Landcatch Chile assets -- which relate to the production of salmon eggs and genetics -- over a seven-year period, according to the paper Estrategia.

The initial contract signing price $13.7 million (€9.9 million) said the paper.

Australis Seafoods reported the deal to the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance (SVS), which conducted the sale.
