The Alaska Salmon Processors Association (ASPA) on Friday withdrew from a binding arbitration process with Trident Seafoods, Icicle Seafoods and North Pacific Seafoods, arguing that a negotiation with only three of the companies seeking to rejoin the MSC salmon certificate would pose a risk that others not involved in the talks could bring action against the group, according to Trident Seafoods' Stefanie Moreland.
