“We get calls from people, wondering where to buy,” Laura Fleming, ASMI communications director, told IntraFish. “It’s a great idea. People could go on the internet and find out where the product is.”

The ASMI board of directors discussed the project at its meeting last month in Seattle. Fleming said members must weigh the cost and other factors before moving forward. Setting up the site could cost about $50,000 (€38,692), and another $12,000 (€9,286) annually to run the locator site.
