Longtime communications chief Laura Fleming confirmed to IntraFish she is stepping down from her job next month. Fleming says she wants to spend more time with her family.
ASMI has posted the job opening on its Web site, and Fleming said the organization is looking to quickly fill the position, which involves promoting Alaska seafood, working with media and interacting with Alaska lawmakers.
