It's been a year of budget slashes for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) -- and there are no big changes expected in the near future, the group's insiders said during the first day of the ASMI All-Hands meeting in Anchorage on Wednesday.

ASMI Finance Director Becky Monagle told attendees to expect decreases in administrative costs and technical and consumer advertising budgets, but said funds for the international program, the food aid program and Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) program would increase slightly.

Monagle
