Taiwan-headquartered shrimp feed and farming giant Grobest is looking to increase its foothold in shrimp processing, one executive at the firm told IntraFish at the Taiwan International Fisheries and Seafood Show in Kaohsiung last week.
One of the firm's main slogans is "if you have good feed, you have good food," Vincent Lin, general manager and head of food at the company, said.
"We have the technological basis, we have the feed, we have the science and in the long-term we hope to be able to say we can have as many processing plants as we have feed plants," he told IntraFish, stressing it won't happen over night.
