Asda, the second-largest retailer in the United Kingdom, said it would move to only MSC-certified wild fish within the next three to five years, along the same timelilne as U.S. parent company Wal-Mart, which made a similar commitment Jan. 27.

"Our move proves that low prices don't have to come at any cost. We've set ourselves an ambitious target, but we're determined to meet it," said Asda CEO Andy Bond. "Our customers tell us they want to buy their fish with peace of mind.
