Irish fishmongers are targeting Germany-headquartered discounters Aldi and Lidl's Ireland operations over what they say is rampant "misleading" labeling and promotion of seafood in stores and advertising campaigns.

But both the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) and the discounters in question are rejecting the allegations, saying they fully comply with official regulations.
