After reports over the weekend a deal was reached with its banks, the company said Monday no deal was struck, and it went back to bargaining with the financial institutions who will finance the transaction.
In its announcement Tuesday, AquaChile did not reveal the terms of the refinancing agreement, but under terms of the deal reported by Chilean media last week, the banks were to receive 100 percent of the shares in AquaChile as a guarantee against the loan.
