That was the message from AquaChile CEO Alfonso Marquez de la Plata when speaking at the seminar held in connection with Cermaq’s investor field trip to Chile at the end of November.
“Don’t underestimate us, we’ve battled through many other challenges," he said. "We’ve been under immense pressure, but we’re still here, and that’s where we intend to stay.
“All our lives we’ve had challenges to cope with. This is a different and new industry, and we have to improve constantly. Nothing new about that,” he said.
