There are mixed reactions to the antidumping decision from the US International Trade Commission (ITC) Tuesday.

The ITC refused to revoke antidumping duty orders on imports of frozen warmwater shrimp from China, India, Thailand and Vietnam while agreeing to remove an existing antidumping order from Brazil.

"We certainly think its a good outcome for domestic industry because, through the Department of Commerce, these companies were found to be still dumping and the likeliood is that they'll continue," said John Williams, the executive director of the Southern Shrimp Alliance (SSA).
