An historic London fish smokehouse -- which had been ordered to cease work following a complaint by a nearby resident -- re-started operations on its premises again on Jan. 15.
"The person who complained has been living [in the neighborhood] for six years and wants to build a studio next to the chimney of the smokehouse," John Purkis, company director at Walter Purkis & Sons, told IntraFish.
"There are no chances of moving out -- the negotiations with the local council is ongoing to find a solution," he said.
