Analysts: Thai shrimp prices expected to remain stable

Thai farmed shrimp prices should remain relatively stable throughout 2012, although they might be weaker than 2011, analysts told IntraFish.

Their comments come as shrimp production troubles in Vietnam and Indonesia keep raw material prices from falling further.

Thai shrimp prices for the whole of 2012 might be weaker in comparison, following the severe floods at the end of 2011, Parin Kitchatornpitak, senior vice president of KTB Securities.
