Private equity group Paine & Partners is formally looking for buyers for US processing and harvesting giant Icicle Seafoods -- and its assets could easily be split up in the sales process.
The company owns American Gold Seafood, which is engaged in salmon farming on the West Coast of the United States.
Last year, slaughter volume amounted to around 6,000 metric tons, while this year’s total is estimated to be around 10,000 metric tons. That is providing maximum capacity is utilized of the company’s farm sites and production licenses.
