The purchase price for the remaining shares in Villa Organic could be "substantially higher," after Leroy acquired close to 40 percent of shares in the Finnmark-based company, Kolbjorn Giskeodegard, analyst at Nordea, wrote in a flash comment.
"Both companies want to position themselves for the upcoming new "green" licences favoring northern Norway where Villa is located," he said.
Following last week’s move by SalMar to acquire 27.85 percent of privately held Villa Organic, Leroy is now challenging SalMar, he said.
