French company Yooji launched a range of flaked frozen cod portions for babies, fetching the first Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification for baby food.
"The MSC label appears on over 23,000 sustainable seafood products distributed in over 100 countries worldwide, but had never been seen on a baby food product," the MSC said in a statement.
Yooji is a start-up specializing in environmentally-friendly frozen baby food. The company was created in 2012 in the Aquitaine region of France and it prides itself of aiming high and innovating.
