Philippines-listed Alliance Select Foods said Tuesday its board had approved a plan for the company to list on the Singapore Exchange through an offering of Singapore depository shares (SDS).

The search for a suitable stock exchange took two to three years as the company needed to look at what options were available to them, COO and Executive Vice President Teresita Ladanga told IntraFish.

Alliance looked at stock exchanges in Australia, Indonesia and even Norway, where many seafood companies are listed, she said.
