Aller Aqua Norway originally applied for two licenses, for use in the counties of Hordaland and Sogn & Fjordane, but has been assured just one license.
According to the company, the aim of obtaining the licenses is to carry out trials/research that entails testing of sustainable feed ingredients that will keep up with the subsequent demands that can be expected as the industry continues to grow, and for researching additives for development of feed that will help combat the lice problem.
