German discounter Aldi, which recently introduced lobster to its offering, will use fresh lobster tails to attract more holiday shoppers in the United Kingdom, reported The Guardian.

At the same time, competitor Lidl is trying to boost sales with its Deluxe range, which will be accompanied by a TV campaign, launched on Oct. 31, featuring whole cooked lobster on several channels including ITV, Channel 4 and Sky.

The discounter is increasing the number of products in its luxury selection adding 200 new items in an effort to lift sales by 50 percent to nearly £64 million.
