The 10 Alaska salmon processors hoping to rejoin the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) program announced Thursday they would pay client group Alaska Salmon Processors Association (ASPA) and Purse Seine Vessel Owners Association (PSVOA) the full costs of certification and annual audits to the standard going back to 2012, when the group first financed the certification as an offer to use the group's certification.
