Akva: Russian salmon farming industry poised for growth

Akva Group’s sale of a NOK27.2 million ($4.8 million / €3.7 million) salmon farm to Russian Sea is part of the company's plan to capitalize on the growth of aquaculture in Russia.

That might seem strange, considering that Russia has yet to develop a significant level of domestic salmon production. But that is changing, Akva executives told IntraFish.
