Oslo-listed Aker Seafoods is considering changing its name to Havfisk ASA, its board decided in its general meeting.
Havfisk was the name of the oldest of the ship-owning firms that merged to become Aker, and 2013 marks the 60th anniversary of its founding.
“It was also one of the pioneers in Norwegian trawling. This is a very good heritage to take forward,” said Holst-Dyrnes in his letter to shareholders.
The company’s 2012 operating revenue was NOK 774 million ($133.2 million), down 10.3 percent from 2011 when it reached NOK 863 million ($148.5
