The Norwegian whitefish giant says its earnings before interests, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached an all-time high of NOK 250 million (€32.1 million/$43.6 million) for 2010, compared to NOK 192 million (€24.7 million/$33.5 million) in 2009.

Despite a weaker fourth quarter, annual EBITDA margin rose to 8.6 percent from 7.1 percent. Revenues increased to NOK 2.9 billion (€372.7 million/$506.1 million), from NOK 2.68 billion (€344.5 million/$467.7 million).

"Viewed as a whole, 2010 was the best year we've ever had," Aker Seafoods CEO Thomas Farstad said.

This
