Norway-based Aker said earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached NOK 95 million (€11.7 million/$15.9 million), a 42 percent increase over the same period last year.

Revenue was up 17 percent over last year, to NOK 709 million (€87.3 million/$118.6 million).

Raw material prices for cod, saithe and haddock were up on average 18 percent over last year. Fresh and frozen cod fillet prices were up 15 percent and 30 percent, respectively.
