Aker gave no details on the terms of the deal, but said it expects Fiskmastar to increase its revenue by as much as SEK 50 million (€5.5 million/$7.4 million).

Fiskmastar produces fresh-packed fish products for distribution in Sweden and Denmark.

“The new activity in Sweden is very similar to our activity at Aker Seafoods Denmark and it complies well with our strategy of increased deliveries of consumer pack products to the Nordic region,” Aker Executive Vice President Morten Hyldborg Jensen said.

The deal will allow Domstein Enghav to concentrate on the production and sale of cooled and frozen products.
