Aker Biomarine is upping its guided sales for its Superba krill oil, following a strong second quarter, with demand in China and Asia growing.
The company, which fishes krill and then processes it into products for human consumption and sale to the aquaculture industry, reported operating revenues of the Aker BioMarine Group in the second quarter of 2012 amounted to NOK 107 million (€14.7 million/$17.7 million), up from NOK 87 million (€12 million/$14.4 million) in the second quarter of 2011.
