Aker BioMarine CEO Matts Johansen denied his company's US patent infringement suit against krill group Emerald Fisheries is the source of its financial troubles, citing instead the company's inability to commercialize and develop its market.
Emerald Fisheries parent group Olympic Holdings alleged in a Norwegian court deposition last week the suit filed by Aker Biomarine at the beginning of this year against Emerald Fisheries, sister company Rimfrost and parent company Olympic Holding were one of the primary reasons for its financial difficulties.
