Analyst Klaus Hatlebrekke said Aker BioMarine may well become profitable in the future, though whether it will get there by its stated goal of 2010 is dubious. While its Argentinean fishing operations are proving a reliable source of revenue, but not enough to balance the tremendous drag produced by their fledgling krill activities which have struggled mightily to get off the ground.
“The company says they will be set to begin selling krill oil by the year of the year,” Hatlebrekke said.
