Uniting seven Southeast African coastal countries along the Western Indian Ocean, FISH-i is an allied task force that uses regional cooperation and dedicated data analysis to crackdown on illegal fishing, and stop illegal catch getting to market.

Formed in 2012, FISH-i Africa is comprised of seven Southeast African coastal states: Comoros, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles and the United Republic of Tanzania.

Since forming, Fish-i Africa have collected over $3 million in fines as a direct result of action taken against illegal fishing operators.
