Acme recalls smoked salmon in Florida

The recall was started Aug. 14 and completed Aug. 16, a company official told IntraFish on Tuesday.

The recall involved 246 pounds of smoked salmon sent to eight small retailers in southeast Florida. All recalled product has been removed from stores, the official said.

Recalled were four-ounce and eight-ounce packages of Acme N.Y. Original Smoked Salmon, with batch code 9428 and a sell-by-date of 9-26-2007.
