Brunswick-based seafood company Acadian Sturgeon is in talks to take ownership of thousands of live fish once owned by troubled Breviro Caviar, reports CBC.
Cornel Ceapa, the CEO at sturgeon caviar and sturgeon meat supplier Acadian, said he is looking to buy the fish, which are being held at a hatchery in the northern community of Charlo.
In recent months, Breviro Caviar has been caught up in big changes in the global market and has struggled to access the lucrative American market.
"The
