Even though mists clung like shrouds to the mountainsides, the magnificence of the scenery was tangible. Conditions are ideal for salmon farming, and the steel-constructed farms sited below tall mountains, although well-sheltered by islets and skerries, are no more protected if the wind is coming from the right direction, making daily tasks seomtimes touch-and-go.
The
