He is head of this particular facility, located furthest west off the coast of Scotland, facing the Atlantic Ocean. The United States is the next stop to the west.
Even though mists clung like shrouds to the mountainsides, the magnificence of the scenery was tangible. Conditions are ideal for salmon farming, and the steel-constructed farms sited below tall mountains, although well-sheltered by islets and skerries, are no more protected if the wind is coming from the right direction, making daily tasks seomtimes touch-and-go.
