It is fair to say that since Jose Camposano's appointment as head of Ecuador's National Chamber of Aquaculture, he has put Ecuador's seafood industry well and truly on the international map, with exemplary leadership, creative communications and a strong drive for transparency and telling seafood's story.

IntraFish Media: How did you enter the seafood industry and why? What drew you to it as a career?

Jose Camposano: I worked for several years at Corpei, which was Ecuador's trade promotion organization. Since then I've always had a strong bond with the exporters in my country.
