Seafood consumption may benefit from a return to healthy eating trends as the threat from the COVID-19 pandemic recedes, but the disruption the pandemic has caused may drive lasting changes in relation to how, when and where seafood is eaten.

That's according to consultants at Boston-based Bain & Company, who carried out in-depth and wide ranging research commissioned by Sysco, the world's largest foodservice distributor, on how the US and some other foodservice markets have fared during the COVID-19 pandemic.
