Benchmark Genetics' Icelandic operation is significantly increasing its production capacity of Atlantic salmon eggs by building a new incubation center on the southwest coast of the Iceland.
The facility will be built next to its existing broodstock and incubation facilities in the town of Vogarvik, Iceland.
Planned to be in operation from mid-June 2021, the new facility will hold an annual capacity of 300 million ova.
