Skretting, one of the world's largest aquafeed manufacturers, announced plans to construct a 100,000 metric-ton feed facility in the growing Vietnamese market, almost one decade after acquiring the local fish and shrimp feed company Tomboy Aquafeed JSC.

The facility, costing the company €24 million ($29 million), will supply key farming areas in the Mekong Delta.

"This new factory in Vietnam is a logical and necessary step towards strengthening Skretting's position as a global competitor in Asia," Skretting CEO Therese Log Bergjord said.
