Employees working at a Labeyrie-owned Delpierre factory blocked the company's smoked salmon refrigerators protesting the conditions offered for their departure ahead of the factory closure.
The 50 metric tons of untreated smoked salmon are worth about €200,000 ($244,000), according to employees at the factory in Alsace, France.
