Peter Skou, an early investor in land-based salmon farming company Atlantic Sapphire, resigned from his position as deputy board member, the company announced Monday.

The company has no plans to replace him until 2021.

In July, Skou sold 180,000 shares in the company at an average price per share of NOK 120 ($12.94/€11.30). Following that divestment, he held 0.9 percent of the outstanding shares and votes in the group.

Earlier this year, Atlantic Sapphire announced a series of management and board changes in preparation for its listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange, which has more stringent governance rules than the Merkur Market, where the company formerly listed.
