The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in August awarded Trident Seafoods and Channel Fish a combined total of just over $1.6 million (€1.4 million) to supply 798,000 pounds of frozen Alaska pollock nuggets to child nutrition and other related domestic food assistance programs around the country.

Massachusetts-based Channel Fish was awarded nearly $386,946 (€327,150) to provide the programs across the county with 190,000 pounds of frozen nuggets to cities in California, Arizona and New York.
