Chilean seafood company Camanchaca plans to more than double sales of Argentine red shrimp to the North American market this year to around two million pounds.

"We are projected to grow 100 percent plus this year," Camanchaca National Shrimp Sales Manager Jennifer Mata told IntraFish.

Eighty percent of consigments go to retailers and membership-based shopping clubs under regular programmed business, with the remainder going to foodservice outlets.
