Farmed Norwegian salmon prices are facing continued downward pressure as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc on global markets.
Prices fell between NOK 1 (€0.09/$0.10) and NOK 2 (€0.18/$0.20) per kilogram this week, an executive with one salmon farming company told IntraFish, and buyers are changing purchasing habits by waiting to place orders until the end of the day.
