Seafood supplier Fortune International's acquisition of Jubilee Foods is its first acquisition of a domestic shrimp brand, Sean O’Scannlain, Fortune’s president and CEO, told IntraFish.
"Jubilee is a very strong domestic shrimp processor," he said. "It fits nicely into our shrimp import sales team. "It will be different than just being a customer of Jubilee. We'll own the brand and be able to build it. Jubliee produces a wonderful domestic shrimp product. We want to help grow and extend that."
