Three years after it lost its first version of the AquaDome concept to a harsh storm, salmon farming giant Cermaq is readying itself to test a new and improved closed marine pen salmon farming system in Horsvågen, Norway.
Construction of the closed cage, which still doesnt have a name, is almost finished and is in place, Harald Takle, research and development manager for farming technology at Cermaq AS, told IntraFish sister publication Tekfisk.
